NASA is looking for "lunar couriers"

The American space agency has been looking for companies that will be able to provide cargo delivery to the Moon in the near future, the Space News website informs. Despite the fact that the Agency itself and some other companies are focused on the development of the Martian missions, the Moon is also planning to start exploring soon, therefore it is very important for NASA to ensure the uninterrupted supply of future missions with everything necessary.

It is not until early in the 1930s that we are going to start the Earth satellite, so there is still a lot of searching time. Now NASA continues to look for partners, with some already signed agreements on cooperation. Moon Express company, for example, undertakes to send its first cargo to the Moon in March of next year, and then plans to make one more flight a year, delivering equipment and other necessary things to the Earth satellite.

Negotiations are also in progress with Astrobotic Technology. The company is developing its own landing module, which it plans to launch in 2019 as part of the Atlas 5 United Launch Alliance Atlas mission. The company already has customers. John Thornton, Astrobotic Technology, said that at the moment signed eleven contracts for the provision of services for the delivery of goods. In addition, in addition to NASA, there are even more than one hundred potential customers, with whom details are also being discussed.
