The Dragon ship arrived at the ISS at the appointed time. The moment of its rapprochement with the International Space Station and the capture of the manipulator was broadcast on the NASA website live. The capture of the truck with a mechanical "hand" was conducted by NASA astronauts Peggy Wilson and Jack Fisher.
The Sunday launch of the cargo ship Dragon was marked not only by the fact that SpaceX experts were able to land the first stage in the jubilee, the tenth time. In addition, for the delivery of cargo to the ISS in the ship Dragon re-used the airtight capsule of the truck, already visited in space.
Now the ship delivered almost three tons of cargo to the station. The premise from the Earth includes food, various equipment and materials necessary for scientific research. Thanks to the materials arriving aboard the ISS, the astronauts will be able to conduct a number of experiments connected with the growing of plants in weightlessness, will study neutron stars and will study the behavior of gels in orbit. In addition, testing of new solar batteries for satellites is planned in the near future, prototypes of which also arrived at the station.
