The main module of the Chinese space station will be launched next year.

News agency ChinaDaily With reference to CASC representatives, reports that the assembly of the main module of the Heavenly Palace has already been completed. Now it is being tested and prepared for launch, which is scheduled for 2018. Planned to put it into space with the help of a new modification of the Changzhen-5 launch vehicle using environmentally friendly fuel.

The developers expect that the station will be able to work for many years and will eventually replace the ISS in orbit, which in 2024 should complete its work. For this reason, China will systematically develop its space station, adding to it all new modules - their launches have already been scheduled for the next four years.

The Chinese space program has already been scheduled for the next few years and includes a flight to the moon to collect soil samples to be held this year. Work on the space station will continue; in a few years missions will be launched to explore other planets. Flight to Mars is scheduled for 2020.
