Scientists have discovered Cthulhu

Scientists gave a text message using vinegar, vodka and a wiper

Researchers at Stanford University have found an interesting way to send text messages. At the moment, it is quite tolerable for them to correspond with each other, transferring small messages from one device to another, while using a wiper and vinegar.

The chemical pager uses a binary code in its work, where the pulsation of substances appears instead of zeros and ones. First, scientists write a message on a microcomputer connected to the installation, which, after sending the text, gives out chemicals that are then poured into a tank with a pH sensor. Next, the sensor measures the solution and transmits the data to another computer, which decrypts the message transmitted in this way.

A couple of years ago, the same researchers tried to convey information in a similar way, reports fossbytes.com, but they used vodka instead of a wiper and vinegar.

The difference between the modern version of the messenger is that it works much faster, but the vodka pager failed after some time: having accumulated too much vodka, it stopped accepting new messages.
