A person uses less than 10 percent of his DNA. According to American scientists, only 8.2 percent of the code is functional, everything else is an evolutionary “trash”, comparable to the appendix (vermiform process of the cecum), which does not cause harm, but does not bear good either.
A team of researchers from the University of Oxford, led by Dr. Garton Lanther, found that the overwhelming majority of the human DNA code is not of great value. This contradicts the previous conclusion that 80 percent of our DNA contains important information, the Daily Mail newspaper writes.
